Symptoms of Anxiety Attacks and How to Avoid them
What is anxiety? It is when a person feels anxious about something. In simple words anxiety is when you have watched 99 episodes of a certain drama and can’t wait for the final one. This happening once a while is normal, but should not interfere with your daily life at all, that’s anxiety disorder.
There are symptoms that help detect the anxiety attacks. Most prominent of which are:
- A strong feeling of fear
- Chest pain
- Breathing trouble
- Feeling of losing control
- Emotional upsets
- Feeling cold or hot in normal atmosphere
- Upset Stomach
- An urge to escape or run away
- Inability to calm yourself
These are not all symptoms because every part of the body responds to the anxiety attack and may vary from one person to another. More than one of these symptoms is also possible but in rare cases.
Anxiety attack also known as panic attack is a feeling of fear or stress happening unexpectedly. They can happen for ten minutes or in some cases up to thirty minutes. This feeling is not common at all, but it is also not much to be worried about.
It is often misunderstood to be inherited or biologically caused. Although there is no substantial evidence to support the theory, but in some cases it does run in the family. In any case it is not a genetic factor.
There are some types of anxiety disorder
- General Anxiety Disorder: – These include general fear of something bad going to happen and interfere with day to day life.
- Panic Attack: – These include continuous unexpected panic disorders with the constant fear of expecting bad luck.
- Obsessive Disorder: – It is when the behavior towards an object seems to be out of control or impossible to stop.
- Phobia: – The most common of disorder when a person has an exaggerated fear towards something specific.
- Social Anxiety: – The fear of appearing in public or public speaking is another common fear among most people.
Apart all that some good news is that it can be easily cured. Anxiety attack is simply a fear, and any fear can be overcome by simply facing it. But for that the right help, support and information is of utmost importance.
Learning to reverse anxiety attack is quiet easy. Most people recover when they implement what they learn. There are some easy steps but their logic should be clearly understood.
- Fight yourself. Fight all negative thoughts that come to your mind and keep things close that motivate you.
- Devote a time. Separate a time frame and in that simply, think about factors that cause anxiety and fears that lie within you.
- Get enough Sleep. Let your mind relax and flow all the negative energy out.
- Exercise. Do a small workout or some exercise to drain all the negative energy that builds up. Use up all the energy you take in.
All that done and understood, the most important thing to do is believe in yourself. Do not be afraid of what you cannot do. Fight the anxiety, fight the fear, and let it all out. Show the world what you can do, rather than what you cannot.
